Walter Lin, MD, MBA • Founder and Chief Executive Officer • Generation Clinical Partners

Dr. Walter Lin is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Generation Clinical Partners, a medical practice focused on helping skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, payers, and accountable care organizations succeed in the new world of value‐based purchasing. Dr. Lin has been recognized for his innovative work in post‐acute care with such honors as the LeadingAge Missouri 2016 Visionary Award and co‐recipient of the Signature Healthcare Foundation 2016 Senator Paul Simon Award.

Prior to founding Generation Clinical Partners, Dr. Lin was a healthcare venture capitalist with Ascension Ventures, a strategic healthcare venture fund with over half a billion dollars in capital under management. Before joining Ascension Ventures, Dr. Lin served as the Corporate Director of Clinical Innovations for Catholic Healthcare West (now Dignity Health), where he led a team focused on improving quality and decreasing costs across a large multi‐state hospital system by minimizing unnecessary variation in clinical practice patterns.

Dr. Lin trained in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco, Masters of Health and Medical Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in biology and economics from Stanford University.

Kelvin Baggett, MD, MBA • Senior Advisor • Pharos Capital Group

Dr. Kelvin Baggett is a business leader with extensive experience in advancing health care performance improvement strategies and positioning organizations for sustained growth. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Pharos Capital Group, where he provides strategic insights on targeted business opportunities and advises on due diligence matters. Previously, Dr. Baggett was the Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations, Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Tenet Healthcare where he was responsible for leading Tenet's efforts to improve the quality and safety of care provided throughout Tenet's hospital system while also helping to manage costs. Before joining Tenet in 2009, Dr. Baggett was the Vice President, Clinical Strategy and Chief Operating Officer of HCA's Clinical Services Group, where he was responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve quality, safety and clinical performance throughout HCA's inpatient and outpatient facilities.

Dr. Baggett trained in internal medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. He completed advanced training as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and as a general internal medicine fellow at Duke University School of Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from East Carolina University School of Medicine, Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Masters of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.


Mary Jo Gorman, MD, MBA • Lead Managing Partner • Prosper Capital

Dr. Mary Jo Gorman is nationally recognized as a leader, innovator and pioneer in healthcare, with more than 20 years of clinical, healthcare management, and entrepreneurial experience. She currently serves as the Lead Managing Partner at Prosper Capital, an organization focused on increasing women entrepreneurs' access to growth capital. Before joining Prosper, Dr. Gorman was the Founder, Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced ICU Care, which focuses on using telemedicine solutions to transform patient care in the ICU. Prior to founding Advanced ICU Care, Dr. Gorman served as the Chief Medical Officer at IPC ‐ The Hospitalist Company, where she developed programs to enhance clinical performance and patient care in hospitals across the United States. Dr. Gorman formerly serve as the Board President at the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Gorman received her Doctor of Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, her Masters of Business Administration from the Olin School of Business at Washington University, and her Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and biology from Saint Louis University.
