GCP Website Privacy Policy

Generation Clinical Partners, LLC ("GCP") takes your privacy seriously and has created the following Privacy Policy to explain to you GCP's information collection and use practices associated with this website ("Site"). The Privacy Policy describes what information GCP collects through the Site and how GCP uses this information. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy, that you accept and will be bound by it, and that you consent to the collection and use of information in connection with your activities on the Site in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as it may be modified by GCP from time to time in its sole discretion. The protections for any information you post or otherwise provide to GCP via the Site are governed by this Privacy Policy. Please carefully consider the privacy implications as you decide whether to provide information to GCP.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter or update this Privacy Policy, and any such modification, alteration or update will be at GCP's sole discretion and effective upon posting.

What Information Is Collected?

We may collect two types of information from you: (i) personally identifiable information, and (ii) anonymous information.

Anonymous Information. Anonymous information refers to information that cannot be tied back to a specific individual. Each time a visitor comes to the Site, GCP may collect some information to improve the overall quality of the visitor's online experience. GCP may collect the visitor's IP address (a number assigned to your computer when you use the Internet), referral data (e.g. the address of the last URL a user visited prior to clicking a link to the Site), browser and platform type (e.g. Internet Explorer on a Windows 8 platform) and your activity while using the Site. Additionally, in order to personalize and enhance your experience on the Site, we may also collect information through “cookies.” Cookies are small strings of text that are sent by the Site to your browser and then stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer the Site. We may also use cookies to gather broad demographic information and to help identify you in respect to visits to the Site so that we may improve your user experience, and to determine whether you visited the Site from a particular internet link or advertisement. A code in the cookie file may enable the Site to label you as a particular user, including identifying you by name, address, or other personally identifiable information. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but it is possible to change your browser setup so that it does not accept cookies.

Personally Identifiable Information. Personally Identifiable Information refers to information that tells specifically who you are, such as your name, e-mail address, street mailing address, curriculum vitae and other biographical information, specialty, and facility affiliation or other place of business. You may also provide GCP with Personally Identifiable Information through your voluntary completion of registration forms and surveys on the Site.

The Site permits you to contact us and submit information via various means including e-mail. Whenever you send an e-mail via a link on the Site, you will be providing us with your e-mail address and any information you choose to include in the text of your message.

How is your information used?

Our use. Personally Identifiable Information will only be collected to the extent that GCP deems it reasonably necessary to serve legitimate business purposes, including, but not limited to, the following: (i) for purposes of employment considerations, if you are applying for a position with GCP or any of its affiliates, (ii) to correspond with you regarding the Site; (iii) to provide you with requested information about GCP, GCP's services, or the services of our affiliates and/or partners; (iv) to inform you of developments about GCP, GCP's services, or the services of our affiliates and/or partners that we believe may be of interest to you; (v) to monitor Site visitor traffic patterns and Site usage; (vi) to comply with applicable laws; (vii) to enforce our Terms of Use; and (viii) to protect the rights, property, or safety of GCP, our users, and others.

Sharing information. We share your information only with our affiliates and partners to provide you with information about our services and/or in the context of employment considerations, if you are applying for a position with GCP or any of its affiliates. Also, we may share in aggregate, statistical form, non-personal information regarding the visitors to the Site, traffic patterns, and Site usage with our partners, affiliates or advertisers. In addition, we will disclose information we obtain, including Personally Identifiable Information, when required to do so by law, in response to a request from a law enforcement agency or authority, to comply with applicable laws, to enforce our Terms of Use, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of GCP, our users, and others.

Contractors

GCP may retain the services of outside contractors, and may disclose relevant Personally Identifiable Information to these contractors in the course of their services for GCP. GCP requires its contractors to keep any information confidential and to only use the information on GCP's behalf and at GCP's direction.

Is My Personal Information Secure?

Transmissions over the Internet are not always secure, and GCP cannot guarantee that information you transmit utilizing the Site is secure; nor can we guarantee the performance or adequacy of any other security measures we employ.
